The Outdoor Foundation is seeking a Program Assistant who will support the Director of Outdoor Nation in program planning, outreach and implementation as well as grant program coordination. The Project Assistant will perform a variety of program and grant administrative duties, including communication, recruitment, event planning, monitoring the achievement of grant activities and developing and maintaining project deliverables under the direction of the program director.
The Program Assistant position is a six month full-time contract receiving a compensation of $2500/month with potential for a full-time staff position. The Program Assistant will work from home the majority of the time with a few days in the Foundation’s downtown office space.
Basic Responsibilities
- Assist with Outdoor Nation Summit planning, outreach, recruitment, coordination and implementation.
- Assist with Outdoor Nation Campus Club coordination and evaluation.
- Assist with grant program coordination including outreach, communication, and reporting.
- Assist with Outdoor Nation website and social media campaigns that build an online community and raise awareness of Outdoor Nation, its programs, and important advocacy issues.
- Assist with internship coordination and intern communication.
- Assist with leading a team of young adult volunteers responsible for helping with social media, summit planning, outreach and communication.
